STATE CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to Riley who was recently part of the Wide Bay 10-12 years school boys cricket team, at the State Championships in Rockhampton.
It was a busy five days of cricket, with Riley playing against five other teams from across Queensland. Riley was an opening fast-medium paced bowler for Wide Bay across all five matches, taking wickets throughout the week and also claiming “Wide Bay Player of the Match” on one of the days, for his bowling and his exceptional team support! Riley also performed well batting throughout the week.
Well done Riley on your cricket achievement, you have made Jones Hill State School, your Family and Wide Bay very proud!!

We saw many marine animals such as star fish, jelly fish, tropical fish, sharks, seals and penguins. We had a great time and learnt so much about the marine animals in our local area.
